My MA Design course in Goldsmiths started from 5th Oct, with the short course briefing and first Monday studio activity. I enrolled in Fashion and Embodiment studio, a quite small studio with 4 students there initially (once dropped to two and now we have 3 in the studio).
(will talk about my studio later, we are not making FASHION COLLECTIONS!)
Due to the pandemic and travel restrictions, I arrived in London on 15th Oct and had a few lessons online at home, struggling with time zone. (I am still in self-isolation, so still online class...) Tutors from our course specially launched this programme for us to respond to the current situation, how to voice out while we are isolated and keeping social distant? What we can do in our home studio? And how to broadcast, publish and reach to the outside?
With these questions in mind and bombarded us with a monotone trailer of programme briefing, we start our design practice, On Site, Off site, On Line, Outside, In sight, Insights, out there ... YEAH!
I am starting this design log blog as a part of my design practice, to document, to broadcast, and trying to connect to the world instead on staying in the isolated island of my room.
I may drop notes in the blog, I may update my practices and I may also sell my products and paintings as a part of the project and practice.
Yuxuanxuanxuan Log is out THERE... YEAH!!!
